Prior to joining the firm, Jim served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Stickney, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. During law school, Jim interned for the Honorable Mark Greenberg (Dallas), the Dallas District Attorney’s Office, and the Northern District of Texas Public Defender’s Office.
Jim received his Bachelors in Science from the University of Kansas in 2011. He received his J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in 2016. While attending Tech Law, Jim was an executive board member, published author, and staff editor for the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal. Jim also participated in mock trial and practiced law in his third year as a student attorney in the Texas Tech Criminal Defense Clinic.
Jim is an avid fan of both college and professional football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. When not watching football Jim enjoys playing guitar and fishing.
